A meeting was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) regarding the implementation of the “State Program for Simplifying Air Transport Formalities,” which was approved by President Ilham Aliyev’s Decree. The meeting focused on the formation of an indicator table with the key executing agencies.

During the meeting, Ayaz Museyibov, Deputy Executive Director of the Center, provided detailed information on the tasks based on the relevant Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, the steps to be taken, and the digital platform. He discussed the challenges related to some of the actions listed in the corresponding Action Plan and dedicated significant time to their discussion. A. Museyibov suggested that groups consisting of liaison persons from the relevant executing agencies be formed to continue the discussions in an online format.

The meeting addressed the organization of the execution process in terms of indicative planning, coordination issues, future tasks, the process of creating the Module as outlined in the Decree, and the measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of the State Program’s implementation.

Representatives from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the meeting.

It is important to note that the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures outlined in the “State Program for Simplifying Air Transport Formalities” is carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication based on the order of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as sftipulated in the Presidential Decree No. 520, dated March 12, 2025.
