The first meeting of the Sub-Working Group on “Macro-Fiscal Stability” was held at the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of preparing the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030.”

Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, spoke at the meeting.

During the meeting, initial directions and next steps regarding the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2027–2030” were discussed, and an agreement was reached on strengthening cooperation among relevant institutions and ensuring that activities continue in a coordinated manner.

The Sub-Working Group on “Macro-Fiscal Stability” was established for the purpose of preparing the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030” in accordance with the Decree No. 356s of the Cabinet of Ministers dated June 18, 2025, which ensures the implementation of Decree No. 611 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 30, 2025, “On the Preparation of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030 and the Second State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
