The Chairman of the Central Bank, head of the sub-working group, Taleh Kazimov, delivered a speech highlighting the progress made in identifying strategic measures in the field of macroeconomic stability, setting intermediate and final targets, justifying the proposed measures, and assessing the necessary financial resources. He positively evaluated the work done so far. Overall, he emphasized that, taking into account international experience and local specifics, the proposed measures are important for strengthening macroeconomic stability in the country, enhancing financial stability, and further developing the financial sector to increase its role in economic growth.

Ayaz Museyibov, Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), presented relevant proposals related to the project.

During the meeting, discussions were held to clarify some measures concerning macroeconomic stability and the development of the financial sector, and several recommendations were made.
