MONITORING AND EVALUATION PORTAL OF THE CENTER FOR ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC REFORMS AND COMMUNICATION

Meetings were held for the purpose of indicative planning for 2026 on the Socio-Economic Development Strategy

Within the framework of the "2022–2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan", the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms held meetings with representatives of relevant state institutions to clarify the target indicators for the final results set for the year 2026.

Representatives from the following institutions participated in the meetings: Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Defense Industry, State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, State Tourism Agency, State Examination Center, State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), Central Bank, Azerbaijan Investment Holding, "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC, "Azerishiq" JSC, "Azerenergy" JSC, Alat Free Economic Zone, State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, and the Intellectual Property Agency.

During the discussions with the institutions’ representatives, the Strategy’s goals were reviewed, including: “Sustainable and High Economic Growth,” “Balanced Development of the Capital and Regions,” “Resilience to Internal and External Impacts,” “Benefit from Development for Every Citizen,” “High and Fair Social Security,” “Inclusive Society,” “Education in Line with 21st Century Requirements,” “Creative and Innovative Society,” “Healthy Lifestyle of Citizens,” “High-Quality Environmental Conditions,” and “Green Energy Zone.” Challenges related to the implementation of the defined measures, the setting of target outcomes, and issues ahead in achieving these targets were also discussed.

At the conclusion of the meetings, recommendations were provided on the development of result indicators in line with the final targets set for 2026, as well as the identification of quantitative and qualitative indicators for monitoring and evaluation at the end of the period.

In total, within the framework of indicative planning, meetings are planned to be held during October-November with 32 institutions identified as key implementers of the Strategy.
