The next meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues was held within the framework of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026”. The meeting discussed the work carried out during the first half of 2026 under the “Clean Environment and Country of Green Growth” National Priority of the Strategy.

The meeting, organized at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, focused on the work carried out, results achieved and tasks ahead during the reporting period of 2026 under the Strategy’s objective of “High-Quality Environmental Conditions”. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication presented the results of monitoring and evaluation for the first half of 2026 regarding the implementation of the “High-Quality Environmental Conditions” objective.

The meeting also featured an exchange of views on the work carried out to achieve the targets set under the Strategy. At the same time, the views and suggestions of representatives of institutions participating in the Working Group were heard. The importance of strengthening coordination among relevant institutions was emphasized in order to improve the efficiency of the implementation process and achieve the targets envisaged in the Strategy.
