MONITORING AND EVALUATION PORTAL OF THE CENTER FOR ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC REFORMS AND COMMUNICATION

The state of implementation of the State Program on food safety was discussed at CAERC

A  meeting was convened with the employees of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency and the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. The meeting was attended by Ramil Huseyn, the Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, Tarana Salifova, the Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, and Sabina Jumazade, the Chief Consultant of the Economic Analysis Department.

R. Huseyn provided information on the progress of monitoring and evaluating the "State Program for Ensuring Food Safety in the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Years 2019-2025" and stated that the monitoring and evaluation report for the planned measures in 2022 had been submitted accordingly. The Deputy Executive Director mentioned that discussions are currently ongoing regarding the changes envisioned in the indicator table adopted for the result-based monitoring and evaluation of the State Program for 2023.

Employees of AFSA and AFSAI addressed the main challenges encountered in implementing the measures by the relevant institutions, explaining the reasons for the changes in the mentioned indicators. The meeting facilitated constructive discussions on solving challenges encountered during the program's implementation and monitoring, aiming to effectively achieve the goals outlined in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan approving the State Program.
