The "Macroeconomic Stability" segment of the general report, focusing on the goal of "Resilience to internal and external influences" within the monitoring and evaluation framework for the first half of the current year, was discussed in the working group.

At the meeting held at the Central Bank, the chairman of the working group, Rashad Orujov, who is the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank, stated that the strategy was implemented within the framework of "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development." He provided information about the work carried out by the Central Bank in line with this Strategy.

Rashad Huseynov, Deputy Executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, explained the monitoring and evaluation process, emphasizing that the entire process is conducted through the portal.

Tarana Salifova, the deputy chairman of the working group and head of the monitoring and evaluation department of the CAERC, presented the progress report that had been prepared.

Subsequently, discussions took place on the issues outlined in the report. Extensive conversations were held with the members of the working group and responsible employees of the Central Bank to further enhance the effectiveness of the implemented activities. Additionally, the next steps were determined.

The "Macroeconomic Stability" Working Group includes representatives from the Central Bank and CAERC, as well as members from the Ministries of Finance, Economy, Justice, Labor and Social Protection of the Population. Moreover, heads of relevant departments from the State Oil Fund, Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, Deposit Insurance Fund, and Agrarian Insurance Fund are also part of the working group.

It is noteworthy that, with the Order signed by the Prime Minister on June 12, 2023, eight working groups have been established to ensure the full, timely, and effective implementation of the measures outlined in the "2022-2026 socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and to coordinate the activities of the relevant state bodies.
