The "Economic Growth" working group convened to discuss the comprehensive report on the final monitoring and evaluation of 2023 within the framework of the 2023 goals outlined in the "Social and Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026."

Rashad Huseynov, the deputy chairman of the working group and Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, presented the report. He provided detailed information on the progress made concerning the target indicators, challenges faced, recommendations, and future plans.

Following the report presentation, members of the working group engaged in discussions, where various opinions and suggestions were heard. Recommendations were put forth to enhance the effectiveness of the implementation, and the next steps were determined.

In addition to the Ministry of Economy and CAERC, the "Economic Growth" working group includes representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Digital Development and Transport, Agriculture, Foreign Affairs, Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Justice, Science and Education, Energy, Health, Culture, Ecology and Natural Resources, and Emergency Affairs. Additionally, it involves the Central Bank, State Statistics Committee, State Customs Committee, State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee, State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovation under the President, State Tourism Agency, State Water Resources Agency, Food Safety Agency, State Compulsory Medical Insurance Agency, Intellectual Property Agency, ANAS, Azerbaijan Investment Holding, State Agency of Azerbaijan Motorways, Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, "Azerbaijan Airlines," "Azerbaijan Railways," "Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping," "Baku International Sea Trade Port," and managers of relevant departments and units of "Azerenerji" along with representatives of the authorized body of Alat Free Economic Zone.

It's worth noting that 8 working groups were established to ensure the complete, timely, and effective implementation of measures outlined in the "2022-2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and to coordinate the activities of relevant state bodies. The "Economic Growth" Working Group specifically oversees the fulfillment of the goals of "Sustainable and high economic growth" and "Balanced development of the capital and regions" while coordinating the activities of relevant state bodies.
