The next meeting of the Sub-Working Group on “Healthy Lifestyle”, established for the preparation of the draft “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030”, was held. Təranə Salifova, Advisor to the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), attended the meeting.

The head of the Sub-Working Group, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev, in his speech noted that the group continues its work intensively to ensure the effective implementation of the relevant measures of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030”, in accordance with the Presidential Decree of Ilham Aliyev. He emphasized that the successful implementation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022–2026” has laid an important foundation for the country’s socio-economic progress and stressed the importance of further improving the measures to promote a healthy lifestyle in Azerbaijan to ensure the continuity of this development.

During the meeting, members of the Sub-Working Group discussed their proposals, emphasized the relevance of applying successful international practices, and identified future directions and planned actions. At the end of the meeting, appropriate decisions were made regarding the implementation of the upcoming tasks.
