Discussions focused on clarifying the target indicators for the next year within the framework of the State Program. The online meeting was attended by a representative of the relevant department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Orkhan Sadigov - Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation divison of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Arzu Suleymanov - Head of the Efficiency Assessment Sector, other divisonstaff members, and representatives of the main implementing agencies mentioned in the Action Plan.
The coordinated activities carried out by the implementing agencies under the indicators defined in the Action Plan aim to provide the population with high-quality transport services, ensure the safety of all road users, enhance the quality, sustainability, and accessibility of transport services, and ensure that the use of personal vehicles, as well as transport and pedestrian infrastructure, meets modern requirements. It also aims to establish principles for the application of digital technologies in transport.
During the meeting, the importance of ensuring reporting for 2025 within the framework of the Action Plan and focusing on key directions during indicative planning for the next stage of implementation was emphasized. In addition, attention was drawn to the significance of ensuring the complete and effective implementation of the mentioned measures and strengthening the evaluation capabilities within the Action Plan.
It should be noted that, according to Part 3 of the Presidential Decree No. 456 of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 30, 2025, “On the Approval of the State Program on the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku City and Surrounding Areas for 2025–2030,” the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures provided in the State Program have been entrusted to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) by order of the Cabinet of Ministers.
