A meeting was held, organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), to clarify the target indicators for the final outcome indicators for 2026 within the framework of the “Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028.”

Representatives of the main implementing bodies of the Strategy — the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Science and Education — participated in the online meeting.

The main goals of the Strategy are to enhance the competitiveness of the national economy, create favorable conditions for the application of artificial intelligence, prepare a qualified workforce to work in the AI industry, and widely promote the benefits of artificial intelligence among all members of society.

During the meeting, the current implementation status of the measures carried out in 2025 for the target indicators and the determination of target indicators for the final outcome indicators for 2026 were discussed.

According to paragraph 4 of the Order No. 530 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 19, 2025, “On the approval of the Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028,” the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the Strategy have been entrusted to the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms upon the request of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
