A meeting was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) with Dr. Tarık Akın, Head of the Finance division of the Investment and Finance Office (CBYFO) of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.

Within the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan, Dr. Akın was welcomed at the Center by Ramil Huseyn, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, who emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as implementing joint projects and research initiatives. He provided detailed information about the projects and activities carried out by the Center, noting that such joint initiatives would make a significant contribution to the expansion of economic relations between the two countries and to the overall development process.

During the meeting, Ayaz Museyibov, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, presented comprehensive information about the monitoring and evaluation processes implemented at the Center. He highlighted the necessity of mutual cooperation and stressed the importance of conducting joint research and initiatives not only within the Azerbaijan-Türkiye framework but also in the context of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Gültac Ahmadzade-Tapdigzade, Head of Sector at the Monitoring and Evaluation division, introduced the digital reporting platforms applied for monitoring the implementation of state programs and provided information on Azerbaijan’s innovative approaches in ensuring data transparency and results-oriented management.

Vusala Jafarova, Head of the Turkic World Research Center at CAERC, spoke about the Center’s activities within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, the publication of the Turkic Economic Review, and other joint projects.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on the importance of conducting joint research and expanding cooperation in this direction within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
