The results of the monitoring and evaluation of the 2021 implementation of the Action Plan for 2020-2025 on the execution of the "Employment Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2030" were deliberated at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Education, the State Migration Service, the State Statistics Committee, the State Examination Center, and the Academy of Public Administration actively participated in the discussions.

Vusal Gasimli, the Executive director of CAERC, provided insights into the conducted monitoring and evaluation works and highlighted the main directions of these efforts. Anar Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, conducted a review of the work accomplished last year concerning the priorities of the Employment Strategy. This included the expansion of active employment programs, enhancements to the relevant legal framework, and the implementation of digital solutions in the labor and employment sector. Attention was drawn to the strides made in these areas.

Yusif Safarov, the Head of the department at CAERC, delivered a presentation on the work carried out within the framework of the Action Plan during the past year. In line with the Action Plan, discussions covered the normative legal framework and institutional structure in labor market regulation, the development of workforce skills, the broadening of the scope and efficiency of active employment measures, and the integration into the labor market of individuals with special needs for social protection and those facing difficulties in finding work.

The executed measures by the relevant institutions and the achieved results were thoroughly examined. Additionally, the evaluation results of the works performed by the executive institutions for the planned measures in the reporting year were analyzed.
